How to Win a Free Cruise in 2026!
Most “win a cruise” lists online have the same problem: they’re written for one country and everyone else gets left out. We built this one differently — starting with tips that work no matter where you live, then breaking out the best country-specific competitions after that.

No Matter Where You Live
Before the region-specific lists below, here’s the honest truth about cruise sweepstakes: almost all of them are restricted to one country or a small group of countries, because of prize-fulfillment and gambling law reasons.
Nobody, anywhere, has a genuinely global “anyone can enter” cruise giveaway running at scale. So instead of pointing you somewhere fake, here’s what actually works no matter your location:
- Follow cruise lines directly on Facebook and Instagram. Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Carnival, MSC, and Princess all run their own giveaways from time to time, and they’re announced on their official pages first — often before any blog picks them up.
- Join the loyalty program of any cruise line you like. Royal Caribbean’s Crown & Anchor Society, Carnival’s VIFP Club, and similar programs regularly run member-only sweepstakes, and joining is free.
- Sign up for our newsletter — we track new competitions across the US, Canada, and UK as they launch and send them straight to your inbox, so you’re not stuck rechecking a page manually.

Margaritaville at Sea – The Road to Beachcomber Sweepstakes Worth calling out because of the odds: 104 winners will each receive a cruise certificate for two aboard Beachcomber, Islander, or Paradise (ARV about $1,200). No purchase or concert attendance is required — there’s a free mail-in entry method (see official rules for the exact address and current entry period). Open to the 50 US states + DC, 21+. Carnival’s “Unfiltered” promotions Carnival periodically runs sweepstakes tied to its VIFP Club and various partner promotions (recent ones have included a soccer-podcast tie-in and cruise-branded gift cards). These rotate in and out every few months, so it’s worth checking Carnival’s own registration page directly for whatever’s currently live. Check Carnival’s current promotions →

Canada

Canadian cruise competitions tend to launch and close faster than most, so following Canadian cruise line and travel-agency Facebook pages directly is genuinely the most reliable way to catch new ones — that’s exactly the gap we’re trying to close with our own newsletter above.
United Kingdom
P&O Cruises – “Win a Cruise” Run directly by the cruise line itself rather than a third party — always worth checking for P&O’s latest live draw, since they rotate one in fairly often. Check P&O’s current giveaway →
Bolsover Cruise Club Prize Draw A UK travel agency that regularly runs its own cruise prize draws alongside seasonal booking discounts.
Croisi Europe – Danube River Cruise for Two Enter by October 22, 2026.
Saga – Free River Cruise to Germany Note: entrants must be 50 or older, as Saga’s cruises are aimed at the over-50 market. Enter by September 30, 2026.
Australia & New Zealand
Here’s the honest answer: as of now, nobody has found a genuine, regularly-updated list of cruise competitions open specifically to Australian or Kiwi residents — including us. If you’re in AU/NZ, your best real options are:
- Following individual cruise lines (P&O Australia, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity) directly on Facebook and Instagram, where they occasionally run region-specific giveaways
- Checking loyalty programs you’re already enrolled in (frequent flyer programs, travel agency memberships) for cruise prize draws
- Signing up for newsletters from Australian travel agencies, who run their own member-only draws more often than you’d expect
We’ll update this section the moment that changes.
A Few Tips Before You Start Entering
- Read the eligibility rules first. Age minimums (usually 18 or 21) and residency restrictions vary by contest.
- Use a dedicated email address. Entering multiple sweepstakes means multiple marketing lists — a separate inbox keeps your main one clean.
- Check back often. Cruise competitions open and close on their own schedules, some for a single week, others for months. This list gets updated as they change.
