Four Adults-Only Carnival Cruises Just Opened Up (Booking Window Closes August 30!)
If you have been waiting for a cruise without the kids, Carnival Cruise Line just gave you a reason to act fast.
The cruise line has extended the booking window on four upcoming adults-only sailings aboard Carnival Firenze, departing from Long Beach, California this fall — but the deadline to book is August 30, 2026. After that date, the window closes.
What Are SEA Cruises?
Carnival’s adults-only sailings are marketed under the name SEA — Sailings Exclusively for Adults. Every passenger aboard must be 21 years of age or older, no exceptions. The concept strips away the family-cruise dynamic entirely and replaces it with an experience tailored specifically for adult travelers — enhanced dining room menus, special entertainment programming, and expanded casino events that simply aren’t possible when the ship is carrying families with children.
These sailings are not widely advertised in the same way as Carnival’s mainstream voyages. Access requires signing up through a dedicated page on Carnival.com, after which the sailings appear under “My Offers” when logged into a VIFP loyalty account.
The Four Sailings Now Open
All four cruises sail aboard Carnival Firenze from Long Beach and visit Mexico:
October 12, 2026 — Seven nights visiting Mazatlán, Cabo San Lucas, and Ensenada
October 19, 2026 — Fourteen nights visiting Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, Acapulco, Manzanillo, Puerto Vallarta, and Ensenada
November 2, 2026 — Eleven nights visiting Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, Mazatlán, Cabo San Lucas, and Ensenada
November 13, 2026 — Seven nights visiting La Paz, Cabo San Lucas, and Ensenada
The range of itinerary lengths — from seven nights to a fourteen-night deep dive through Mexico — gives potential passengers meaningful choices depending on how much time they have available.
John Heald Is Hosting the First One
The October 12 sailing carries an added draw for Carnival loyalists. Brand Ambassador John Heald will be aboard for the seven-night opener, hosting what he has described as events promising “a massive dollop of FUN” throughout the cruise. Given Heald’s enormous following and his reputation for turning any sailing into a community event, that sailing in particular is likely to sell out quickly.
More Adults-Only Cruises Coming in 2027
Beyond the four Firenze sailings this fall, Carnival has also opened bookings on ten SEA cruises for 2027 aboard Carnival Conquest, Carnival Paradise, and Carnival Glory.
The 2027 program signals that the adults-only concept is growing rather than remaining a niche offering — giving Carnival loyalists who prefer an adult atmosphere more options to plan around in the year ahead.
How to Book
Access to SEA cruise bookings is not available through standard Carnival search. Interested passengers need to visit the dedicated SEA cruise registration page on Carnival.com, sign up for free access, and then log into their VIFP account where the sailings will appear under “My Offers.” Both assigned cabin categories and guarantee cabin options are available, with Carnival assigning guarantee staterooms closer to the sailing date.
