Royal Caribbean Just Revealed 28 Dining Options on Its Next Mega Ship

Royal Caribbean has revealed new dining details for Legend of the Seas, and the upcoming Icon Class ship is shaping up to be a foodie powerhouse. When the vessel debuts in July 2026, it will offer 28 places to eat—the most dining options ever on a Royal Caribbean ship.

From brand-new global flavors to immersive culinary experiences and fan-favorite restaurants returning, the cruise line is clearly doubling down on food as a headline attraction.

Here’s everything we know so far.

A New Icon Class Ship Packed With Food Choices

Legend of the Seas will be the third Icon Class ship, the largest class of cruise ships ever built. Royal Caribbean says the vessel will feature 24 global cuisines across complimentary dining, specialty restaurants, immersive experiences, and quick-bite venues.

The ship launches July 4, 2026 with Mediterranean sailings from Rome before moving to Fort Lauderdale for Caribbean cruises in winter 2026–2027, all visiting Perfect Day at CocoCay.

But the biggest buzz right now is the food.

AquaDome Market Is Getting a Major Overhaul

One of the biggest dining updates is a refreshed lineup at AquaDome Market, the ship’s complimentary food hall. Five of the six food stands will be brand-new concepts.

New venues include:

  • Seoulmate – Royal Caribbean’s first dedicated Korean food venue, serving rice bowls
  • Cajun Kitchen – New Orleans favorites like gumbo
  • Adobo – Mexican street tacos
  • La Española – Spanish-style bites
  • Simply Pressed – Fresh smoothies and juices
  • Crème de la Crêpe – Sweet French crepes (returning)

This lineup brings a wider range of global flavors to the popular venue, which has become a guest favorite for late-night and pool-deck dining.

Interestingly, the addition of Adobo means the ship will offer two taco spots—a sign that Royal Caribbean is expanding beyond Tex-Mex into more authentic Mexican street food.

Royal Caribbean’s First Korean Restaurant at Sea

Among the new offerings, Seoulmate stands out as a milestone.

Royal Caribbean has never offered a dedicated Korean dining concept before. The new venue signals the cruise line’s growing focus on diverse international cuisine and expanding its global food portfolio.

Immersive Dining Will Take Center Stage

Two “Savor the Show” experiences will headline the ship’s premium dining lineup.

Hollywood Supper Club

This venue will celebrate the golden age of Hollywood with:

  • Multi-course meals
  • Grand cocktails
  • A cinematic, immersive atmosphere

Royal Railway: Legend Station

The train-themed restaurant returns with a brand-new concept focused more heavily on cuisine.

Guests will embark on a five-course culinary journey along the Silk Road, inspired by Marco Polo’s travels. The menu will span China, India, Persia, Turkey, and Italy.

Dishes teased so far include:

  • Pork and shrimp siu mai with caviar
  • Butter chicken and palak paneer
  • Lamb chops inspired by Turkish cuisine

This version of Royal Railway is expected to lean more toward fine dining and global flavors, rather than the family-focused storytelling of earlier versions.

Fan-Favorite Restaurants Are Returning

Royal Caribbean isn’t abandoning its classics. Many popular venues from Icon of the Seas and Star of the Seas will also appear on Legend.

Highlights include:

  • Chops Grille – Signature steakhouse
  • Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar – Classic Italian dishes
  • Hooked Seafood – New England-style seafood
  • Izumi Hibachi & Sushi – Japanese dining favorite
  • Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade – Casual American bites

Another returning favorite is Pier 7, the California-coastal brunch spot. Kids under 12 eat free, and adults can often enjoy brunch for around $9 when booked early—making it one of the ship’s best value specialty restaurants.

Complimentary Dining Options Still Play a Big Role

Despite the massive specialty lineup, Royal Caribbean continues to emphasize included dining.

Complimentary options will include:

Quick bites

  • Park Café
  • El Loco Fresh
  • Surfside Bites
  • Basecamp
  • AquaDome Market

All-day dining

  • Pearl Café (open 24/7)
  • Sorrento’s Pizza
  • Sprinkles soft-serve ice cream

Sit-down meals

  • Main Dining Room
  • Windjammer buffet
  • Surfside Eatery

Sweet Treats and Suite-Only Dining

Dessert lovers won’t be left out.

Sweet stops include:

  • Desserted – Gourmet milkshakes
  • Sugar Beach – Candy and chocolate shop
  • Starbucks

Suite guests will also have access to exclusive venues:

  • Coastal Kitchen – California-Mediterranean cuisine
  • The Grove – Mediterranean mezze and light fare

The Most Dining Options Royal Caribbean Has Ever Offered

With 28 dining venues spanning complimentary eateries, specialty restaurants, immersive experiences, and suite-only spaces, Legend of the Seas is set to raise the bar for cruise ship dining.

The ship’s lineup reflects a major shift in cruise dining trends—toward more global flavors, immersive experiences, and variety that rivals land-based resorts.

For food-loving cruisers, Legend of the Seas is already shaping up to be one of the most exciting new ships to watch.
