Carnival Miracle Just Got a Major Glow-Up—Here’s What’s New
The Carnival Miracle may have launched back in 2004, but she’s just returned from dry dock looking fresher than ever—and with long-awaited upgrades cruisers are already raving about.
After undergoing a major refurbishment at the Navantia Shipyard in Cádiz, Spain, the popular Spirit-class ship is now sporting new features, redesigned venues, and plenty of modern touches.
The biggest headline? Dive-In Movies have officially landed on Carnival Miracle, fulfilling a long-standing guest request.
The midship screen on the Lido Deck is now ready to showcase movies under the stars, right between Guy’s Burger Joint and the BlueIguana Cantina.
A Modern Makeover at Sea

Alongside the addition of the outdoor movie screen, several key spaces on board have received full refreshes. Dr. Frankenstein’s Lab Dance Club, a favorite nighttime venue, has been redesigned, while the Alchemy Bar and the ship’s casino also got updated looks. Even the main theater now has a polished new vibe.
One of the ship’s most exclusive dining experiences—The Chef’s Table—also received enhancements. Located aft on Deck 1 near the galley, this intimate culinary space was updated to make the experience even more special for guests who book it.
Beyond the venues, cosmetic improvements like new carpets, reupholstered furniture, fresh paint, and deck refinishing have revitalized the ship’s overall appearance.
Behind the scenes, technical updates were made to improve efficiency and ensure smooth sailing for years to come.

Where You Can Sail on the Refreshed Carnival Miracle
The upgraded ship set sail from Lisbon on May 11, kicking off a one-way voyage to Dover, England. Along the way, guests are enjoying stops in Spain and France before arriving in the U.K.
From mid-May through August, Carnival Miracle will be homeported in Dover and offering longer European itineraries ranging from 9 to 12 nights.
These include routes around the British Isles, northern Europe, Iceland, and Scandinavia. In August, the ship will reposition to Rome for a second round of European sailings focused on the Greek Isles and Mediterranean.
In November, Carnival Miracle will cross the Atlantic to return to the U.S., arriving in Tampa to begin a winter season in the Caribbean before heading to Seattle for the 2026 Alaska cruise season.
With room for 2,124 guests and a crew of over 900, Carnival Miracle is back, better than ever—and ready to give guests the upgraded experience they’ve been waiting for.
