145-Day Roundtrip Cruise From Miami Will Visit Hawaii, Bora Bora, and Australia in 2027

A cruise that circles half the globe without requiring a single mid-journey flight is coming to Miami in 2027 — and it’s one of the most ambitious itineraries Seabourn has ever released.

Luxury cruise line Seabourn has announced a 145-day world voyage sailing roundtrip from Miami that will carry guests to Hawaii, Bora Bora, Australia, New Zealand, and dozens of other far-flung destinations. The nearly five-month journey is designed for travelers who want to experience the world slowly, comfortably, and entirely by sea.

Nearly Five Months at Sea, Roundtrip From Miami

The sailing will take place aboard Seabourn Quest, departing Miami on January 5, 2027, and returning on May 30, 2027. Over the course of the voyage, the ship will call on 67 ports across 19 countries, making it one of the longest roundtrip cruises ever offered from Florida.

Guests will also experience two full transits of the Panama Canal — once heading west and once on the return — while crossing both the Equator and the International Date Line along the way.

A Flight-Free Way to Reach Bucket-List Destinations

The itinerary spans some of the most sought-after regions in the world, including extended exploration in Hawaii and French Polynesia, with multiple calls throughout the islands and a stop in Bora Bora. From there, the voyage continues on to Australia and New Zealand, before moving on to South America and the Galapagos Islands.

Five ports will feature overnight stays, giving guests extra time ashore. These include Sydney, Darwin, Hobart, Papeete, and Lima. The cruise will also introduce two brand-new destinations for Seabourn, with first-time visits to Wallaroo in Australia and Whangarei in New Zealand.’

Scenic Cruising Takes Center Stage

Beyond port calls, the sailing places a strong emphasis on scenic cruising. Guests will enjoy slow sail-bys along Australia’s rugged Kimberley Coast and through New Zealand’s Fiordland National Park — regions known for dramatic cliffs, waterfalls, and remote landscapes best viewed from the water.

These scenic days are designed to be highlights of the voyage, offering a front-row seat to some of the most visually striking coastlines in the Southern Hemisphere.

Elevated Experiences for World Cruise Guests

In addition to the extensive itinerary, Seabourn has built an all-inclusive package specifically for guests sailing the full world cruise. Fares include upgraded Starlink-powered Wi-Fi for two devices per guest, a $1,000 onboard medical services package, and unlimited laundry and pressing throughout the voyage.

Guests will also receive business- or first-class roundtrip airfare, private door-to-door transfers, a one-night pre-cruise hotel stay, luggage valet service, and a reduced 50% deposit at booking. Depending on suite category, shipboard credit can reach up to $10,000 per suite.

Exclusive onboard offerings include private dining experiences, curated tasting menus, enhanced special events, a gala bon voyage dinner, President’s Events, and personalized gifts created specifically for full-voyage guests. Optional immersive Seabourn Journeys ashore will also be available in select destinations.

Life Aboard Seabourn Quest

Seabourn Quest is well-suited for a journey of this length, carrying just over 450 guests in an all-suite configuration. Most suites feature private verandas, walk-in closets, and marble bathrooms, while the ship maintains an exceptionally high crew-to-guest ratio.

Onboard life is tailored to long stays at sea, with open-seating dining venues, enrichment lectures, destination briefings, cultural programming, a spa, fitness center, pool decks, and quiet lounges designed for relaxed sea days between ports.

Seabourn’s Vision for the Voyage

According to Mark Tamis, President of Seabourn, the 2027 World Cruise is meant to go beyond sightseeing and create deeper connections with destinations and cultures.

The voyage, he said, invites travelers to explore extraordinary regions across Australia, New Zealand, Polynesia, and beyond, while enjoying Seabourn’s signature approach to luxury — defined by personalized service and thoughtfully designed experiences.

With its rare combination of global reach, extended port stays, scenic cruising, and comprehensive inclusions, Seabourn’s 2027 roundtrip Miami world cruise offers a distinctive way to explore Hawaii, Bora Bora, Australia, and much of the world — all from the comfort of a single ship.
