This Royal Caribbean Ship Just Got a Brand-New Homeport
Royal Caribbean International has officially welcomed a new chapter in its Australian operations as Voyager of the Seas begins sailing from its new homeport in Brisbane.
The Voyager-class ship is launching its first-ever season from the Queensland port, expanding Royal Caribbean’s presence in the region and offering guests a wide range of cruise options.
Starting this week, Voyager of the Seas will operate a total of 20 sailings from Brisbane, with itineraries ranging from short three-night weekend getaways to longer voyages exploring the South Pacific. Ports of call throughout the season include popular island destinations such as New Caledonia, Mystery Island, and Vanuatu.

Among the standout itineraries is a rare 25-night transpacific voyage to Seattle. This extended sailing will take guests through French Polynesia and Hawaii, offering a once-in-a-lifetime journey that blends island cruising with an epic ocean crossing.
Gavin Smith, Vice President and Managing Director of Royal Caribbean Australia and New Zealand, highlighted the significance of the deployment, noting that Voyager of the Seas is especially well-suited to Queensland travelers.
“Our award-winning Voyager is an adventure-seeker’s dream and the perfect holiday match for the spirit of the Sunshine State,” Smith said. “This season from Brisbane is one for the books with more weekend getaways and more island time than ever before across Queensland and South Pacific destinations, reinforcing the unforgettable memories that families can make on a Royal Caribbean holiday.”
Guests sailing aboard Voyager of the Seas can expect the ship’s full lineup of dining venues, lounges, and onboard attractions. The vessel features multiple restaurants, bars, and entertainment options, along with signature Royal Caribbean activities designed for families, couples, and adventure-seekers alike.
Voyager of the Seas is not the only Royal Caribbean ship sailing from Australia this season. Anthem of the Seas recently made its debut in Sydney, offering itineraries ranging from two to 18 nights and further strengthening the cruise line’s commitment to the Australian market.
This season also introduces six special Wiggly-themed cruises across Voyager of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas. Exclusive to Royal Caribbean, these family-focused sailings feature collaborations with The Wiggles and their popular characters.
Families can expect themed events, live performances, character meet-and-greets, and exclusive Royal Caribbean x The Wiggles merchandise onboard.
With a mix of short escapes, longer island adventures, and unique themed sailings, Royal Caribbean’s expanded Australian lineup signals a major season for cruising out of Brisbane and Sydney, giving travelers more choices than ever before close to home.
