Harmony of the Seas to Receive 91 New Staterooms, Expanded Casino, and Fresh Dining Options
Royal Caribbean International’s Harmony of the Seas is gearing up for a massive transformation as part of the cruise line’s Royal Amplified program, and one of the biggest changes will be the addition of more than 90 new cabins across multiple decks.

Expansion of Staterooms
According to deck plan estimates, the 2016-built Oasis-class ship will undergo a reconfiguration that repurposes existing public spaces to make room for 91 new staterooms. The breakdown of additions includes:
- Deck 3: The current conference center will be converted into 29 inside cabins.
- Decks 14 & 15: Around 29 guest accommodations, including a mix of inside and balcony staterooms, will replace the Wonderland specialty restaurant.
- Deck 6: Five cabins will be carved out of space currently occupied by the Vitality Café.
- Deck 14: Nearly 30 cabins will take over areas of the Adventure Ocean kids’ club and part of the adults-only Solarium, offering a mix of inside, ocean-view, suite, and balcony staterooms.
- Deck 17: Two duplex suites will be merged into one larger luxury accommodation.
When the project is complete, Harmony will see its cabin count rise from 2,747 to over 2,838 staterooms, significantly boosting passenger capacity.
New Amenities and Dining Options
The upcoming drydock isn’t only about staterooms. Harmony of the Seas will also debut several new and expanded features:
- Expanded Casino Royale – set to become the largest in Royal Caribbean’s fleet.
- Samba Grill – a Brazilian-style steakhouse joining the dining lineup.
- Pesky Parrot Bar – a tropical-themed venue, first introduced on Utopia of the Seas, replacing the Bionic Bar on Deck 6.
- Refreshed Pool Deck – redesigned with Caribbean-inspired theming.

Timeline and Deployment
Harmony of the Seas is scheduled to enter drydock in Europe in April 2026 following a repositioning sailing. The vessel will return to service in May 2026, offering Western Mediterranean cruises for the summer season.
In winter 2026, the ship will relocate to Port Canaveral, Florida, where it will sail five- and seven-night Caribbean itineraries, including visits to Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas and the upcoming Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, set to debut in late 2025.
Royal Amplified Program Continues
This refit is part of Royal Caribbean’s broader Royal Amplified initiative, designed to refresh and modernize ships across the fleet with upgraded venues, entertainment, and stateroom options.
“The Royal Amplified programme gives our guests the best of Royal Caribbean with new-to-class culinary options, entertainment and adventures,” said Jay Schneider, Chief Product Innovation Officer. “After the success of the Allure of the Seas refit, we’re excited to bring three more amplifications to the fleet in 2026.”
While Royal Caribbean has not officially confirmed the 91-cabin count, industry deck plan analysis points to a significant increase in stateroom capacity when Harmony of the Seas emerges from her extensive makeover.
