MSC Cruises Launches Year-Round Southern Caribbean Sailings for the First Time Ever
Winter 2026-2027 Brings Two Ships and More Itineraries Than Ever Before
MSC Cruises is making waves with its latest announcement: for the first time, the cruise line will offer year-round sailings to the Southern Caribbean during the 2026-2027 season.
Leading this expansion is MSC Opera, which will be deployed year-round from La Romana, Dominican Republic, starting November 16, 2026. In a new twist, the ship will also offer embarkations from Fort-de-France, Martinique beginning in April 2027.

Guests can choose from 7-night itineraries or extend their voyage to 14 nights with a unique “butterfly” cruise format, visiting stunning tropical destinations such as:
- Dominican Republic
- Martinique
- Guadeloupe
- British Virgin Islands
- Barbados
- Antigua and Barbuda
- Netherlands Antilles
Adding to the excitement, MSC Seaview will join MSC Opera during the winter season, giving travelers even more options.
Seaview will sail 7-night cruises from Fort-de-France, hitting bucket-list ports like:
- Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe
- Philipsburg, Sint Maarten
- St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda
- Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis
- Roseau, Dominica
- Bridgetown, Barbados
- Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines
- Saint George, Grenada
- Castries, Saint Lucia
These expanded itineraries mark a major investment in the Southern Caribbean by MSC Cruises, and all voyages are now available to book.
Whether you’re looking for a week in paradise or two, MSC’s growing Caribbean lineup offers something for every type of cruiser.
