Norwegian Joy Becomes a Rock Paradise with Monsters of Rock Cruise 2025

The 2025 Monsters of Rock Cruise (MORC) is shaping up to be a must-attend event for rock and roll fans, and the latest announcement has fans buzzing: legendary band Night Ranger will perform an exclusive set onboard Norwegian Joy.

A Rock and Roll Legacy

Formed in 1979, Night Ranger rose to prominence in the 1980s with their signature hard rock sound. With over 17 million albums sold and more than 4,000 live performances under their belt, the band has cemented its place as one of the genre’s enduring icons.

Their 2021 album, ATBPO (And the Band Played On), showcased their timeless appeal, followed by a global tour in 2022.

The Monsters of Rock Cruise promises an unforgettable experience for guests with this one-night-only performance.

Scheduled to take place during the ship’s overnight stop in Nassau, Bahamas, on March 13 or 14, the event is exclusive to the 3,804 guests booked on the 5-night cruise.

A Floating Festival of Rock

Since its inception in 2012, the Monsters of Rock Cruise has brought together tens of thousands of fans for a unique music festival at sea.

The 2025 cruise, running from March 10-15, will feature a lineup of over 35 bands and celebrities, including Tesla, Stephen Pearcy of RATT, Wig Wam, and The Iron Maidens.

Beyond performances, the event will include meet-and-greets, Q&A panels, and themed activities such as “So You Think You Can Shred,” Gong Show Karaoke, and even cooking classes with rock stars. Eddie Trunk, renowned hard rock and heavy metal personality, will host the cruise alongside a lineup of co-hosts.

The Ship and Itinerary

The Norwegian Joy, one of Norwegian Cruise Line’s premier ships, will serve as the backdrop for this epic journey. The cruise will depart from Miami, with stops at Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas—a private island owned by Norwegian Cruise Line—and an overnight stay in Nassau.

Guests can also enjoy the ship’s top-tier amenities, including pools, jacuzzis, a fitness center, and the two-level Speedway racetrack.

Tickets Still Available

For those eager to join the action, a limited number of cabins are still available. Prices start at $1,799 per person (double occupancy) before taxes and fees. More details can be found on the official Monsters of Rock Cruise website.

Don’t miss the chance to sail away with rock legends and create memories that will last a lifetime.
