Royal Caribbean has just revealed the exciting details about its new vacation destination, Perfect Day Mexico, which will debut in fall 2027.
Located on the beautiful Caribbean coast near Costa Maya, Mexico, this innovative destination promises to offer a unique experience with record-breaking attractions and a wide variety of activities designed for families, thrill-seekers, and relaxation lovers alike.
Bigger and Bolder Than Ever
Following the success of Royal Caribbean’s Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas, Perfect Day Mexico is set to raise the bar even higher. With over 200 acres of space, the new destination will be home to seven themed neighborhoods, each offering something special for all types of guests.

Fiesta Plaza – A Vibrant Welcome
Guests will begin their adventure at Fiesta Plaza, a lively and colorful area right at the heart of the destination. The plaza will feature the world’s largest sombrero atop the Tipsy Sombrero Bar, where visitors can enjoy margaritas, ice-cold beers, and tropical drinks while soaking up the festive atmosphere.
Loco Waterpark – The Ultimate Water Thrills
For those who enjoy water fun, Loco Waterpark will be the centerpiece of the destination, featuring over 30 thrilling waterslides across multiple towers.
The park’s star attraction is Jaguar’s Peak, a 170-foot-tall structure with two dueling slides. Other exciting slides will include the world’s longest coaster waterslide, a towering family raft ride, and a one-of-a-kind sombrero slide.
For those looking to take things a bit slower, Splash Cove will offer the world’s longest lazy river, complete with fun rapids and unexpected twists. And with three swim-up bars placed throughout the waterpark, guests will never be too far from a refreshing drink.
Exclusive Adults-Only Zones
For guests seeking a more relaxed experience, El Hideaway will offer an adults-only retreat, featuring a zero-entry pool, swim-up bar, live music, and an in-pool DJ for a vibrant yet laid-back atmosphere.
The Ultimate Party Cabana, designed for up to 20 guests, will be available for those looking for a private, high-energy space to celebrate in style.
A Beach Lover’s Dream
The destination will also feature Chill Beach, a serene area with nearly two miles of pristine white sand. Here, loungers, umbrellas, and towels will be provided for guests who want to unwind by the sea.
For an upgraded beach experience, Costa Beach Club will offer a heated infinity pool and private cabanas, making it the perfect spot for those seeking tranquility in a luxurious setting.

The cruise line is also developing Royal Beach Clubs in the Bahamas and Cozumel, Mexico, which will open in 2025 and 2026, respectively. These exclusive beach clubs will feature local flavors, cultural attractions, and relaxed beach vibes.
Lelepa – A Faraway Island Escape
Looking beyond the Caribbean, Royal Caribbean is also working on an exclusive private destination in the South Pacific. Lelepa, located in Vanuatu, will offer a unique experience for those venturing to the Southern Hemisphere.
This will be the first-ever private cruise destination in the region, with local cultural experiences, stunning beaches, and a one-of-a-kind getaway awaiting adventurous cruisers.
