Carnival Cruise Line Completes Switch to Coca-Cola Fleetwide

Carnival Cruise Line is officially wrapping up its long-anticipated switch to Coca-Cola beverages across the fleet, giving soda fans plenty to cheer about.

The cruise line confirmed that the transition will be complete on September 27, 2025, marking the end of a two-month rollout that began earlier this summer.

Carnival Jubilee Marks the Finish Line

The final ship to make the switch is Carnival Jubilee, the line’s newest Excel-class vessel and flagship, homeported in Galveston, Texas.

While brand ambassador John Heald initially announced a September 13 completion, Carnival later confirmed that the full rollout will finish at the end of the month. Jubilee is currently sailing 7-night Western Caribbean itineraries and will expand to 6- and 8-night voyages in 2026.

What’s on the Menu

The new beverage lineup includes a wide variety of sodas, flavored waters, sports drinks, and even protein shakes. Guests can now enjoy:

  • Coca-Cola, Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Caffeine-Free Coke, and Caffeine-Free Diet Coke
  • Sprite and Sprite Zero
  • Barq’s Root Beer and Fanta Orange
  • Topo Chico flavors (Tangerine, Lime, Blackberry)
  • Powerade (Lemon Lime, Fruit Punch, Zero Fruit Punch, Zero Mountain Blast)
  • Fairlife Core Power protein shakes (Chocolate, Vanilla)

Heald also noted that Dr. Pepper is available—but only on ships sailing from New Orleans, Mobile, and Galveston. Carnival is considering whether to expand availability to additional homeports.

Options for Pepsi Fans

For guests who still prefer Pepsi products or other beverages, Carnival’s Liquor & Beverage Policy allows passengers to bring a limited supply of their own drinks.

Each guest may carry on up to 12 sealed, non-alcoholic cans or cartons (12 ounces/354 ml or less) at embarkation, with the option to replenish supplies at ports of call.

Included in Drink Packages

All Coca-Cola products are part of Carnival’s recently introduced CHEERS! Zero-Proof drink package, which also covers mocktails, smoothies, premium coffee, and other non-alcoholic options.

A Major Brand Shift

Carnival first announced the switch from Pepsi to Coke at the end of June 2025. The change required ships to phase out existing Pepsi stock while building up supplies of Coke products fleetwide—a process that has taken nearly two months.

For Coca-Cola loyalists, the wait is now nearly over. By the end of September, every Carnival cruise ship will be pouring Coke, cementing one of the biggest beverage changes in the line’s recent history.
