Breaking Waves: Cruise Line Makes Entire Fleet All-Inclusive

In an unprecedented move within the cruise sector, HX (Hurtigruten Expeditions) has embarked on a transformative journey to enhance expedition cruising.

By the year’s end in 2024, HX will have transitioned its entire fleet to provide a fully all-inclusive experience, setting a new benchmark for luxury and ease in ocean exploration.

This strategic enhancement is aimed at significantly improving guest satisfaction by integrating the elegance and comprehensive service commonly associated with leading ultra-luxury cruise brands like Silverseas and Seabourn.

The rollout will begin in October 2024 with voyages to Antarctica and the Galápagos Islands, expanding to include all HX destinations from November 2024 onwards.

The initiative will offer travelers a seamless and enriched way to discover the globe’s most secluded spots.

Comprehensive Benefits of the All-Inclusive Model

The all-inclusive model curated by HX is meticulously designed to cover every aspect of the cruising experience, providing guests with the freedom to enjoy their journey without the concern of extra expenses.

This model includes an array of dining options complete with house wines, beer, and a selection of spirits and cocktails available throughout the day. Guests will also enjoy continuous access to beverages such as coffee, tea, and soft drinks.

Beyond these essentials, the package enriches the voyage with complimentary Wi-Fi, gratuities, and full access to the ship’s wellness amenities including saunas, hot tubs, and fitness facilities.

Furthermore, the all-inclusive experience captures and includes professional photos of the expeditions, ensuring guests can keep their memories of these unique experiences.

The enriching onboard activities, such as daily expeditions and talks led by experts, along with unrestricted access to the science center, are integral to this package, offering guests deep dives into the marvels of their destinations at no additional charge.
