Set Sail with Bing! Costa Cruises’ New Family-Friendly Star
In an exciting development for family cruising, Costa Cruises has teamed up with Acamar Films to introduce Bing Bunny, the beloved character from the popular children’s animated series, as part of their summer entertainment lineup on their flagship vessels, the Costa Toscana and Costa Smeralda.
Starting this summer, families setting sail on either ship will be greeted by Bing Bunny himself. Bing, a favorite among children across the globe, has reached an audience of 2.2 billion in over 130 countries.
This partnership aims to provide young cruisers with unforgettable experiences through a variety of Bing-themed activities.

Kirsty Southgate, director of the experiential and promotions team at Acamar Films, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration. “We are delighted to be able to offer a very special experience to Costa Cruises’ youngest guests, who will be able to get to know and interact with Bing, making their holiday even more memorable,” she said.
Paolo Reggiani, Costa Cruises’ entertainment director, also commented on the new addition, “The arrival of Bing on board our ships will allow us to enrich the holiday experience we offer families with something unique and special.
Bing is extremely popular among children, so we are confident that our young guests will love participating in the entertainment activities we have organized for them.”
The Costa Toscana and Costa Smeralda, each capable of hosting over 6,500 passengers, will feature a roster of Bing-themed activities. These include character meet and greets, parades, and themed parties, all designed to entertain and engage children during the week-long Mediterranean cruises.

The Costa Toscana is set to offer 7-night roundtrip sailings from various Mediterranean ports including Palermo, Civitavecchia (Rome), and Savona, Italy; Marseille, France; and Barcelona, Spain, with visits to Ibiza among other stops.
Meanwhile, the Costa Smeralda will also cruise the Mediterranean with stops in Civitavecchia, Genoa, Italy; Marseille; Barcelona; Cagliari in Sardinia, and Naples.
Further enhancing the family-friendly offerings, Costa Cruises provides clubs for various age groups. The Baby Squok Club caters to toddlers aged 1 to 3, while the Squok Club entertains children from 3 to 11 with games, arts and crafts, and treasure hunts.
Teenagers between 12 to 17 can enjoy the Teen Zone, which features Foosball, table tennis, board games, and sports tournaments. Additionally, a nursery service is available for the youngest cruisers at an extra charge.
Both ships are not only focused on entertainment but are also equipped with impressive facilities, including 13 swimming pools, 11 restaurants, and 1,550 balcony cabins, ensuring that every family member has an enjoyable and comfortable stay.
As Costa Cruises embarks on this new venture with Bing Bunny, they look forward to creating more enriching, family-oriented experiences that make every cruise memorable for their youngest guests.
