Why Royal Caribbean’s New Loyalty Program Is a Cruise Game Changer!

In a bold move to enhance customer loyalty, Royal Caribbean Group has introduced an innovative Loyalty Status Match program, uniting the loyalty schemes of its three major cruise brands: Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea Cruises.

Starting from cruises departing June 5, 2024, this program marks an unprecedented step in the cruise industry, allowing guests to transfer their loyalty tier levels across all participating brands.

This strategic initiative aims to reward the loyalty of guests who have traveled extensively with Royal Caribbean’s brands, recognizing their commitment with a seamless integration of benefits across the group’s diverse portfolio.

Members of Royal Caribbean’s Crown & Anchor Society, Celebrity Cruises’ Captain’s Club, and Silversea’s Venetian Society can now enjoy their earned perks and privileges, no matter which line they choose to sail with.

The program is designed around a point-based system where guests earn points for each night spent on board. For instance, Royal Caribbean awards 1 point per night, with double points for suite bookings. This enables cruisers to quickly ascend from Gold status, all the way to Pinnacle at 700 points.

Silversea’s Venetian Society also rewards its guests elaborately, with benefits escalating from a single day of sailing to over 500 days. The rewards range from exclusive onboard parties to complimentary laundry services and even free voyages.

Similarly, Celebrity Cruises’ Captain’s Club tiers—ranging from Classic to Zenith—reward guests based on the type of stateroom, with points varying significantly by suite category, thus offering tailored benefits that enhance the cruising experience.

Royal Caribbean Group, through this program, intends not only to foster brand loyalty but also to enrich the cruising experience by acknowledging and valuing the patronage of its frequent travelers.

The program does not extend to the group’s joint ventures, including TUI Cruises and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, which remain independent in their loyalty offerings.

With 66 ships sailing across the globe under its three brands, Royal Caribbean Group is setting a new standard for customer appreciation in the cruise industry.

This loyalty match is expected to significantly impact guest satisfaction and brand allegiance, making Royal Caribbean Group a top choice for travelers seeking memorable and rewarding cruise experiences.
